Chaparral Townhomes

These are the nastiest apartments I have ever lived in. They haven’t been updated since 2002, the rooms are smaller than an average apartment. If you have king anything the bed and dresser is all that will fit. The closets are tiny but there a huge laundry cloth. The coun in my unit are rotten, they plywood falls out anytime I use the sinks. The dishwasher had no wheels on the rack and looked like it has never been cleaned. I was moved in With dirty carpet and cob webs hanging from the ceiling. There’s and electrical problem out here, the lights flicker and sometimes might not come on. The trash is the worse, it unsafe, and unsanitary. The area is never power washed to be cleaned. It sits in the worse spot possible, in front of someone’s home. I lived here for almost 2 years if I could give it 0 stars I would worst experience in the 2 years my apartment flooded 3 times and took months for them to fix it each time and there was a mold issue I talked to the office about so many times they just painted over it never fixed the mold 3 shootings but most people laughed it off there’s nothing funny about people getting hurt my family was sick constantly because of the mold very rarely did things get fixed sense I have moved out they claim you have to pay 3 more water bills just to pocket the money also the fire alarms go off every other month to worn about leaks happening and poorly fixed mice and bug problems kids around there will throw bricks at cars I would definitely read reviews before moving there it’s not a family place like th

Believe the reviews. It’s affordable housing and cheap. Believe me you get what you pay for. The apartment we just moved in is like the people moved out and they moved us in. It’s dirty half the things don’t work. Garage doesn’t close and they have yet to send someone to make this apartment “move in ready”. It’s ridiculous. I am still waiting on them to make the repairs from the walkthrough that we did back in March. The stove doesn’t work, I have submitted several work orders and still nothing. The response is let me get with maintenance and still nothing. The stair rail was never replaced and under the kitchen sink plywood was rotted and needs to be replaced. Still- NOTHING. I am calling compliance today

YES THEY FILED EVICTION!!!! And no this is not another disgruntled post, please see the photos listed. This is for those seeking shelter at Chaparral Townhomes in Allen Texas. If not you then maybe someone you might know, so read and pass it along. These are a tax credit property which means they're income based below market rate townhomes. You think Allen, and immediately expect moderate to high quality living. I lived there for 3 yrs and saw mgmt changed out 4 times. Sami was there first but was fired when residents complained about her loud, drunk, and disorderly conduct in the parking lot on numerous occasions. In the heat of summer the pool was never open, always some "pump issues" or "the chemical levels were off" excuse. They have one dumpster and on any given summer day hot garbage

I've only been with Chaparral for almost a month, and the Office Staff are amazing. Carlos, one of the complex maintenance men identified by came into my apa tment to fix a few things, and with everything he touched, he expla⅘⁵ineverything. H awesome,
