Champion Hills At Windyke

I enjoyed my time here. I was in a 1 bed, 1 bath upstairs and it was lovely. My area of the complex was quiet for the most part. Those with kids were respectful with outside hours. Maintenance requests were completed in a timely manner. You can use the gym 24/7 with key fob. It’s a gated community. They have an alarm system already installed. Washer and dryer hookup. All electric, no gas. It was in a great location, near Collierville, grocery stores and shopping. Easily accessible to the highway. I didn’t have many issues with light outages. There’s a country club down the street that does a firework show every year and you can see it from the complex. food truck Fridays is nice. Office staff were nice.

I would rate it less than 1 star if possible. I was given bad informations at lease signing, initial cleaning was terrible, lied to repeatedly about repairs and lease term changes, and maintenance is slow or no show. I was even told they didn't have windows screens for some of my windows that were never replaced in the 6 months o lived there, nor were bad wall switches ever replaced, and my mailbox wouldn't close or lock, which was also never repaired, amongst several other reported issues. Primarily though, due to gross incompetence by the leasing agent, reportedly later terminate, I was threatened I had to pay an additional $1300 because of the leasing agent's screw up and lies about reporting my move out date requirement after I refused an extention. I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE to move here, the Property manager LaQuesha is unprofessional, rude, and will do anything to get you evicted even if it’s illegal. & The Regional manager Dawn Barber was made aware of EVERY SINGLE COMPLAINT and still allowed her to continue to purposely try to evict me & my fully disabled son EVERY MONTH for 3 months now illegally. They have allowed continuous harassment & retaliation against me by LaQuesha for months now. They even allowed her to lie like I used threatening, abusive language when I went in to address my maintenance requests that were never fixed. They allowed this even after I made them aware that she was lying, and I have video recorded proof. I have filed several complaints etc. These people have no heart, not even for a mother with a disabled

As a resident of 5 years, I was extremely & overly excited to be informed that LaQuesha Wright is the new property manager! If I recall correctly she has assisted me with the last 3 years of my reside. She is THE MOST helpful, informative, respectful, kind, considerate agent I have encountered while living here. I do believe she is about to make the community much more safer & more friendlier! Champions Hills at Windyke have a junkyard in the back that they don’t want anyone see but how could you not unless you never take out your garbage or you are touring the property. After maintenance complete repairs like the air conditioner fans they throw the broken items in a pile to sit! This is just a small example. We pay $10.00 a month for garbage which is always overloaded or scattered around. Cat Families are now gathered in the trash compactor area because there’s so much trash on the grounds. Rent is too expensive for the premises to look this way. Management ignores it and lies about getting it taken care of!
