Century Communities - Sardis Falls

We had our home built in 2019, the 6 bedroom and 4 bath model on a slab. Only months later, the tiles on the floor of the 2 upstairs bathrooms and the laundry room (upstairs) began to shake and crack. So did the tiles in the bathroom on the main floor. The 10 month post construction visit that was to take place in May 2020, did not happen due to COVID as per the builder. When COVID subsided, I tried to schedule the visit with Century Community, only to be told that the 10 month period expired. Forward to today, I paid a contractor to replace the floor. It turned out that Century Community did not place any subfloor before laying the tiles. The tiles were placed on the bare wooden floor. Worst of all, the cement underneath the tiles was bare bone. DO NOT BUY A CENTURY COMMUNITY HOME! Save your sanity. The only reason there is a one is because Britt the sales guy was great to work with. Beyond him, the whole process continues to be a nightmare! The warranty dept is a joke. Don’t count on anything being fixed in a timely manner or communication had without excuses. We still haven’t had guests to our home because we have an eroded tub that they won’t cover! We have never even used this specific tub. You can tell they used one of those paint/markers you can get to cover it in hopes that it would last long enough until after our 1yr walk-thru…sorry people, it didn’t work! My husband and I just purchased a home in the Sardis Falls community and have been incredibly pleased with the process. From the signing of the contract, selection of finishings at the design center and meetings with the builder. It has all been great! The sales agents are pleasant, knowledgeable and very accommodating. In addition, our builder (Mike), has been wonderful. He sends photos of the progress and keeps us abreast of what is taking place. We can't wait to move in!

Working with Century Homes has been the worse experience I have ever endured. The lender officer failed to communicate with us throughout the lending process. Bether only called 2x since December 2021. We didn’t have an option but to work with Inspire. Thank god Chase purchase my loan. Everything was rushed and with rushed work comes bad quality. We finally got our glass panels in our master bathroom almost a month after we had closed. The paint is patchy throughout the house. When we finally finished the home buying, we get a large water bill. We noticed that they were using our water to water the next-door neighbor's grass. Buyer Beware! At the onset you think you've landed in a really good place, and doing business with a good company. For the most part, that is true. However, It doesn't take long to realize things are not quite what they appear to be. The first thing to make note of is you are spending more than $300k and you will not have a design center experience, where you meet with a design specialist who can guide you through the process. Also, you will be designing with what appears to me to be overstocked material. They are still offering the same material that has been in the new home market for more than 12 years.
