Cedar Square Apartments

I have never been so miserable in my life! This building is horrible! 30 apartments and there are only two washers and two dryers. These washers do not wash clothes good at all. You are given a laundry card and the minimum amount you can load the card is $20. You can tell they don’t keep up with the dryers and the washers as they are dirty looking. There is an infestation of mice no matter. The exterminator coming out. All he does is lay a few traps and spray a bit around the place. I have been experiencing mold in my bathroom on several occasions and it is just covered up, not properly treated. The upkeep in the building is terrible. You never see someone coming out and vacuuming/cleaning. The hallways stink. The parking is terrible, there is a huge speed bump that you have to drive over

I would like to say based off my 2-3 years living here i had no issues so far. No bugs, no roaches, no infestations seen ever. They always maintain a strict routine of extermination so it stays that way. They clean the halls often. The trash in the back, sure it may pile up from time to time, but its a lot of people throwing out trash, of course it’d pile, luckily each time when the trash trucks come and pick up, they make sure to pick up the ones off the ground too so it stays clean until the next pickup. My stay here has been completely comfortable. Whenever i had an issue or needed maintenance they’d schedule a day and come right away to fix my needs. When this management took over aswell, i want to say they replaced the windows which was VERY much needed and i am thankful for after yea

To make a long story short do not move here, maintenance is absolutely horrible. My ceiling in my bathroom has mold from a leak that happened almost 2 months ago. Maintenance showed up unauthorized did not mitigate properly, cut drywall in my bathroom and did not take any of my belongings out or cover anything. Dropped drywall crumbs and screws in my carpet. I have a ring camera in my son’s room and recorded the whole process. To make matters worst Management told me that because it’s just dust that they would give me 10$ to wash some of my belongings in the (washroom) downstairs. It’s only 2 washing machines that are always occupied because this location (500 E Upsal) has about 20+ units. I may never recover from what I endured here. They evict religiously; we had 18 apartments in our building and i once came home and there were 3 notices to vacate on the front door. That's 1/6. There's no humanity no warmth and no sense of professionalism. When i left they i used my security deposit to cover the entire back rent and they charged 1300 because i told them i was leaving 3 weeks prior instead of 4. They're a cut throat business and i dont care for it to THAT extent. Live elsewhere! UPDATE: they lie sometimes too so i added ths picture. Please let humanity do BETTER!

I called the cedar square apartments this morning 12/16/2024 10:40 ish after reviewing my credit report showing their address as a former address of which I NEVER lived so I decided to call & get some answers the person (her) was rude NOT trying to help me with any assistance. I totally understand if this is out of your hand but at least try & be a lil helpful. A Disgrace!
