Cavco - Manorwood

Stay far away. Our home is an absolute nightmare. I should have taken my money and threw it out the window while driving on the highway. Wish I took warnings from their reviews.

I’ve had a Manorwood modular home now for 8 months. I am beyond unsatisfied with our home. If you are reading that their work is below sub-par, please do believe it. The amount of things wrong with my house, and the fact that their quality control protocol (if they even have any) let my home leave their facility is absolutely insane to me. Yes, It’s a modular and the “finish” work is on the builder, or in my case; me, but the way they hung door trim, installed crooked light switches, did not completely caulk the bathroom, and a number of other things that I could not believe was absolutely ridiculous. The electrical install was an absolute nightmare, and the amount of work my electrician had to do ended up with him almost nearly redoing the entire house. I will give it to Manorwood on this

Though the houses are modular, the construction is much like a mobile home in quality and attention to detail. Like any company prior to purchase, they are nice, friendly, and helpful. However, after purchasing not so much. Previously commented and reviewed their Facebook page and they responded by blocking me. I tried for many months to get issues corrected and after numerous trips by them, just kind of gave up and requested financial compensation to correct things myself. From what I’ve seen from the industry, they state the product is better since it’s built at a factory but that’s not the case. I could write a hundred pages where Manirwoid homes fails in the construction of homes. I’d avoid purchasing from them and look elsewhere.

My daughter got a Manorwood home and the construction was below sub par. The last problem was a burned up light switch box that could have set the house on fire. Go somewhere else to buy your home.

Good looking homes, could definitely use some better options of floor plan layouts and general options inside the homes. Christi is great to work with.
