Cavalier Court Apartments

Lived here 2 years, loved the low rent. A few maintenance problems, and which handyman they send to help you is gonna have a big impact on whether your problem is gonna get solved. Had an issue with management claiming that they never got their rent one month, despite the check being cashed; it was a hassle. Starting getting receipts after that. Kinda rolling the dice with this place, but overall worked out for me.

Submitted my application here. Waiting on approval but I just want to say that the staff members are extremely nice and work very hard to help you out with any question. I enjoyed the phone call I had with the Lady in the office. She knew her job well and helped me out a lot. I have my fingers crossed on this apartment, I'd love to have her as my leasing manager. Also, apartments look SO nice in the photos! Thanks again!

I cannot believe this place has above a 1 star rating. When I went to a showing, the apartments seemed clean and totally fine. However when I moved in, IMMEDIATELY I saw roaches scurrying everywhere. Over the year the issue got progressively worse, even with a pest company coming by every month to "spray" (I swear it did nothing but bring more roaches out from hiding). I contacted the office multiple times and even tried to break lease with how bad the issue got, but in the lease it states that you can only choose to sublet. On a good conscience, I wouldn't allow anyone to unknowingly live in an unsafe environment like this. I ended paying for a private pest company who helped a bit, but the issue was never completely resolved. For reference, after I had come back after a month away so tat

I lived here for a year while at University. The management company is TERRIBLE and unresponsive. Although close to the college, this is an unsatisfying place to live. Do yourself a favour and find other accommodations...

It's very convenient as a jumping off place for driving to Lynchburg and other locales south and west along Route 29. Otherwise it is a lonely, isolated place that is pedestrian unfriendly.
