Casa Mara

I’m posting this after moving out because my experience at Casa Mara significantly impacted my comfort and sense of safety at home. For a long stretch of time, I dealt with ongoing issues involving a nearby neighbor that made using my patio/balcony extremely stressful. The pattern was consistent: when I went outside, the neighbor would come out shortly after and sit/position himself close to the shared boundary facing toward my space for extended periods. It happened often enough that I began limiting my time outside because I felt watched and uncomfortable. There were also repeated occasions where cigarette smoke drifted directly into my patio area for prolonged periods, making the space difficult to use. I attempted privacy measures (window film/coverage) and installed a Ring doorbell

By far the best managed building i ever stayed in. The front office of Arlyn,Candace,Jeff go above and beyond to help you with your issues in the building. The maintenance team is the best i ever dealt with as well with repairs literally getting taken care of a few hours after the ticket goes in. Great overall experience living at the complex the past 2 years!

I just wanted to take a moment to share…. I moved into Casa Mara in Oct 2021. I’ve lived in 2 units, seen office staff come and go. But what remains constant is the support of Leadership, from Candice the property director and Hanzel the maintenance manager. When you have a challenge they listen, they care they call you family. In today’s world, you want to live in a safe place with caring support in the front office. You can depend on them to get things done. They answer all calls and are top notch! Can the lawn be better, yes but that is the lawn crew THEY need to do better, and pet owners pick up after your dog. I live in the best community in town, best value by far and best office staff. Thanks Candice and Hanzel for representing amazing teams! I love where I live.

I stopped in to tour the 2 bedroom apartment. I had the pleasure of being helped by Jeff. He showed me the plethora of amenities and then the 2 bedroom. The property offers both garden style and mid-rise apartments. I would definitely recommend this property as it’s close to downtown and the beaches and offer one of the best amenities in the area.

Leaving one star is actually too generous! The guy that shows the units (Jeff) is bizarre. He sighs and acts like you're bothering him. The Manager (Candace) does not have what it takes to be a manager. She can not handle anything out of her comfort zone. So glad I didn't move into this place! Total unprofessionalism across the board and the apartments are not worth what they're charging!
