Carriage Hill Apartments

My wife and I have been here for about 2 1/2 years and this is truly one of the best run apartment complexes you will find. They go out of their way to be kind, courteous, helpful, and try to make a community for the entire complex. Ashland and the rest of the front staff are amazing!

I will have to second the review about the leasing staff. I initially worked with Sam as my leasing agent. She was patient and helpful in the early stages and answered my questions, but there was a significant lack of follow-up afterward. What was most disappointing was being told that certain steps had been completed when they had not. Renay was the most disappointing part of this experience. When I received my lease, there was no call or guidance provided. Because Sam was out of town and had not followed up as promised that Friday, I contacted the leasing office to make sure I had submitted everything required. I did not receive any follow up but kept getting reminders about my lease so I went into the office and Renay was there. Renay assured me that everything was complete and nothi

Staff interface was too notch!!! All issues identified as needing attention were addressed - 100% / no short cuts... Team members were customer service centric, friendly, professional and helpful.. Felt we are well cared for !!!

Carriage Hill is a place you can call home, the most desirable place to live in Charlottesville. The neighbors are super helpful and friendly. They would say hi with a big smile on face when you meet with them. The view is beautiful, the nearby Giant, the lake with a fountain, the mini-museum, and the hospital is a bonus. What's more, the management team is responsible, in particular, really enjoyed working with Tommea, from the first time we visited the leasing office in early 2017 to the day we moved out around mid-2019, she had always been friendly, warm and thoughtful. We miss her so much, miss Carriage Hill a lot. It's tough to find a Carriage Hill in Oregon area where we live right now. Admire people who are living in Carriage Hill right now. I hugely recommend this place.

Ashland, Sam, and the entire admin team truly make this place special. They are responsive, organized, and genuinely care about the residents. Any questions or concerns are handled quickly and respectfully, and you can tell they take pride in running a smooth, welcoming community. The complex itself is well-maintained, peaceful, and thoughtfully managed — but what really sets Carriage Hill apart is the people behind the scenes. Ashland, Sam, and the rest of the team go above and beyond to create an environment that feels more like a community than just an apartment complex.
