I have been renting from Carolina Dunes since February and one thing I can say is Eddie & Malinda are absolutely amazing!! Hands down! Always reply at a timely manner always answers any questions or concerns and always helps with any maintenance issues pretty quick. This is my first own apartment and I’ve always heard many bad experiences from long term renters (not Carolina Dunes ) but my experience has so far been the best yet and I can only thank Carolina Dunes for making a 22 year old girls life easier <3

My wife and I worked closely with Eddie and Beth to rent and later purchase a home in Manteo last year. In a very hectic and competitive market they were tremendous! They worked tirelessly to help us achieve the best outcome. They both were extremely hardworking and honest in all phases of the process. We rented a home for two years from Carolina Dunes. We always paid on time and left the place nicer than when we moved in. The carpet was disgusting and 20 years old when we moved in. Upon moving out our lease was held citing that the carpet was damaged. We filed a complaint with the BBB and would have taken the case further, but we were moving out of state and the cost to come back to go to court outweighed what we lost on the deposit. After filing the complaint with the BBB we did receive 1/2 of the deposit back in an attempt to get us to say our complaint was settled. Beth Twyne is extremely shady and tried to take advantage of us moving out of state and not being to fight against our deposit being held.

We rented from Carolina Dunes for a few years and don’t have any complaints. Any questions we had were always answered quickly and they always made sure any maintenance requests we had were completed in a timely manner. We’d definitely recommend them to other renters! :)
