Carleton East Apartments

The parking lot remains in the same condition however mostly worse no one has come to plow the snow. There is still no cleared sidewalk for residents to safely walk through. Several cars are still stuck in their parking spaces, and the vehicles that have tried to dig themselves out are getting stuck again because the lot has not been plowed. It is also extremely difficult to even enter the parking lot. Multiple residents have gotten stuck just trying to drive in. This is becoming a serious safety issue for both drivers and pedestrians. In addition, no one has been available at the rental office, and there has been no response through the resident portal. Please address this matter as soon as possible. The current conditions are unsafe and need immediate attention.

I rarely write reviews but this place deserves it. Ive been living here for 3 years here’s my experience. If you want to have your water cut off every day and live with rats like you in the jungle. Office people that are there to get a paycheck and not actually help you. Maintenance that doesn’t exist. Security that doesn’t exist. And don’t even think about bringing your brand new car because people living there use it as a crash dummy because they don’t care. Don’t even try to report it either because they will make you waste your time and not help you. So think twice before moving here.

I lived at Carlton East Apartments for 2.5 years, and unfortunately, I can’t recommend it to anyone considering moving here — especially if you end up in building 9817, unit #9. Consider this your warning. Pest Problems:
There’s a serious mice issue in the units. I personally killed seven mice and had to seal two holes in the walls myself. They got into my pantry and possibly brought along a roach problem too. Plumbing & Water Issues:
The water is turned off frequently with little to no notice. I went weeks without hot water because the boilers desperately need replacing. Maintenance:
Maintenance is one of the worst parts of living here. They take forever to respond to service requests. I had an active leak in my walk-in closet for over a month. I even went on a two-week vacation and ca

This people don’t deserve even 1 star very horrible living conditions yet they have the audacity to charge high rents. Maintenance is a disaster calling for an emergency is a waste of time they won’t show up. The bathroom ceilings are always leaking, fridges don’t work, bathrooms flood, roach problems it’s a disaster take your money somewhere else. This is the worst place you can choose to stay the office team is a waste of time very incompetent people. They absolutely need to be reported

It is extremely frustrating that two weeks have passed since the snowfall, yet the parking lot and sidewalks are still completely covered in ice. These conditions are very dangerous for residents. What makes this even more unacceptable is that the community entrance — where children walk every morning to go to school — has not been cleared at all. This creates a serious safety risk for families and especially for children. This situation needs immediate attention. Proper snow and ice removal is a basic safety responsibility, and it has clearly not been handled properly.
