Cardinal Village Apartments

Cardinal Village Apartments is a wonderful place to live. The apartment manager, Donna, is very responsive and helpful. The apartment complex is well maintained and located directly across from campus. There is also a large parking lot for residents only. There is laundry room on site and the building is secure. My 1st son lived there while attending UofL, and then 5 years later when it came time for my 2nd son to attend UofL, he lived there as well! Highly recommend for students seeking a well-maintained and convenient apartment next to campus.

Cardinal Village is a great place to live, especially for students or anyone who wants to be close to the University of Louisville. The community feels safe, and are well maintained. The property manager, Donna, is always very helpful and responsive, which made the whole living experience much smoother. Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable place to call home.

My partner and I lived at CV from about 2020-2024 I believe. As music students at UofL, it was the perfect location for us as it's a quick walk to campus. We lived on the first floor and had no issues with bugs whatsoever. Donna was very responsive and helpful anytime we had an issue. When we moved out, she made the process very smooth sailing & explained everything so well. I just feel like it's a luxury these days to have a property manager that is willing to hear you out! Thank you CV for providing us with a great living space while we were still students. Will reccomend to any student looking for a place to live that is affordable, peaceful, clean, and in close proximity to campus 😀

We lived for six wonderful years at Cardinal Village Apartments before moving back to Egypt in 2022. It was the best period of my life, and we truly loved the place. The atmosphere was amazing, and the office manager, Dona, was exceptionally kind and helpful, making our experience even better.

I lived at Cardinal Village for two years. At first it was great and convenient since I was finishing up at business school which was a two minute walk. Unfortunately, my laundry got stolen and there was no help in getting it resolved. Limited food options around and not the best area. Trash was left out in the parking lot all of the time. I would not recommend for anyone, find some friends to live with in a better apartment in a nicer area. The apartment manager was all over the place and was not very much help when it came to anything. 900 dollars a month to live in a box along with the issues I had to deal with was never worth it. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from Cardinal Village.
