Cantrell Company LLC - Property Management

I will never recommend anyone rent from this company. The worst experience I have ever had renting. We were loyal tenants for over 2 years and upon moving out they tried to rob us of our deposit and $700 more claiming they would not patch holes from normal hanging of pictures because they wanted an updated color throughout the home which they will make you pay to paint the entire home over. Then they accused our pet of leaving a urine stain “Because they smelt it when they pulled up the carpet” and asked us to replace the entire carpet Until I asked them to take a look at our initial walk through and said stain was listed. Basically trying to have us pay for their upgrades to the home when the entire carpet was stained upon moving in but they some how forgot to fact check their initial wal

Excellent property company to rent from. Their homes are neat, clean, and in good condition. I have found them to be very responsive when I have had questions. Only had one repair request the entire time I have lived there. One time I locked my keys in my car and they came right away to let me in the house. The office administration are also kind and helpful when we have called and are quick to respond. Thank you for all that you do to provide nice housing for people and to keep it in good shape.

The properties are relatively new but that’s where the end of the good part stops. Beware of the hidden move out costs, they will keep $150 for cleaning fee even if it’s absolutely perfect and you spent 70 hours cleaning before moving out so there is no point in doing an excellent cleaning job. They will also keep $150 for cleaning the carpet no matter what. I was also charged $300 for painting even though we asked for touch up paint the entire time we were renting and during the move out they said not to worry about touch up. The color was discontinued and they never assisted us with the matter but we paid them $300 to repaint their unit with whatever new tan color that was available at move out. I would have done this if they had given any guidance on what paint color to use. The house

I am very impressed with this property management company! Krystal is amazing! She is super helpful, professional, and smart! She did not run my credit prior to verifying with me which property I wanted. When we learned that they did not have a property in my price range she refunded me my application fees! From what I know, you will have absolutely no problems if you rent from this property management company. They are customer and people focused!

They will not follow their terms of the lease and when you have neighbor issues and request they do something about it they say thats not their job and to read the lease to see what they could do. I did it clearly states Neighbors cannot be a nuisance to others so I called again quoted the exact lease then they decided to do something about it. The neighbor still continues doing this and they said you will need to break your lease to get away from her instead of handling the problem. We have lived here for over a year and never once had an issues till this new neighbor moved in.
