We are very pleased with the Candid Appraisals. We needed four appraisals completed on our various properties for tax reasons. James worked tirelessly to collect all the relevant data and we were able to meet our deadline. We feel the appraisals were accurate and the comparison data matches for our properties. Quick but sloppy Hmm, all the 5-star reviews here are about “James”. Unfortunately, I didn’t get James, I got Kevin. Firstly, I have to say that Candid did the appraisal within 3 weeks, so top marks for their speed. On the other hand, maybe more attention to detail would have been good. Kevin listed 6 elevators in the building, although there are only 4. Even though he visited the condo unit, he wrote that there are 3 bathrooms, although there are only 2. And one of the maps in the report was for a property that wasn’t even in the same city! I sent an email regarding these things and got a reply saying Kevin would change them. After about a month, I contacted them again. There was no reply. Edit: About an hour after I posted my 2-star review, Kevin sent the revised report. The power of Goo

We had the pleasure of having our home appraised by Candid Appraisals. Candid Appraisals are very professional and knowledgeable. They already knew the approximate value of our home as they had already researched our property, comparable properties, the market and the area where we reside. They took the time to speak with us and explain the process. Candid is also very accommodating as they went out of their way to come to our home on a Sunday, at a time convenient for us, to perform the appraisal, that alone exceeded our expectations especially since life is so busy and they took time on a Sunday to come to us.
