Campus Management

I had the misfortune of renting from Campus Management. If you are attending college in Ann Arbor Michigan, run from anything that says “campus management”. Most people are born with the understanding of human decency but the only thing these people were born with is greed, ignorance, and miscommunication. The continuously ignored emails, they were very rude. I tried to introduce myself and it was all vey blunt. They are the most rude and selfish group of individuals you will ever meet if you so choose to do business with them. The upkeep of their apartments is downright disgraceful. Cracks everywhere in the paint, ceiling tile cracking, black mold. Seriously NEVER do business with these crooks unless you want overpriced, uncommunicative, and the worst living spaces of your life, then they

If I could give 0 stars I would. I have never had such horrible experiencing with a leasing company in my life. Please please rent anywhere else. I would recommend Michigan rental. campus management has failed on many occasions to fix easy requests through maintenance and it is obvious the company does not care about tenant well being at all. They charge for most fixes to make easy money and know there is nothing the tenant can do about it as housing is hard to find.

Worst place I have ever rented from. My apartment was old and falling apart; the heat was broken in the winter, even though this was illegal (they never fixed it) The apartment was dirty and invested with rats. They took my deposit despite they apartment already being trashed when I arrived. My landlord Jodi Runge was constantly rude and useless. Campus management should be shut down for illegal business practices. If you are a UofM student do not rent from here; no one has a good experience.

I’m writing this to any student who is trying to live in a Campus Management property to attempt to cheap out on rent: don’t. I made the huge mistake of renting a room in one of their properties after reading the reviews, just thinking I wouldn’t be a victim of everything else others have experienced. Ann Arbor is very expensive to live in at the moment, but you really pay for what you get. Truth is the reviews only scrape the surface of how miserable of a company this is, and how even more miserable it is to wake up every day in one of their properties. I lived on E Ann and dealt with a mice infestation and decades old piping bursting in my basement and flooding everything with feces. The house is old and gross, heat leaks every winter, and money is squeezed out of us at any opportunity (

Jaques works in maintenance and is one of the nicest people I've met. Made living at Campus Management way better than it could've gone. Can't overstate the impact he has had for us fixing everything the office messes up. Everything else is 0 stars. Campus Management and their properties are utter shit. Pipes bursting, no heating in the worst of winter, broken front door locks, parking spot problems weekly, etc.
