The Caesura at Ashland Pl is a sleeping beauty! Just the right size in an otherwise towering downtown Brooklyn, the rooftop offers STUNNING VIEWS of Brooklyn and peeks to the Manhattan skyline as well as the Statue of Liberty, Ft Greene Park and out into the NY harbor (beautiful sunsets!). The lobby is always immaculate and the super, Sheik Faruk, is an asset to the property. There is a wonderful high-end Italian restaurant on the ground floor, and The Center for Fiction on the corner. Views of BAM, and One Hanson are also a highlight. Units are well built and quiet despite the potential street noise. Close to Whole Foods as well as Atlantic Terminal. A great building in the heart of Brooklyn.

My experience with the Caesura leasing office, specifically with Angelo and David, was profoundly disappointing. I viewed an apartment and was subsequently instructed to provide a $500 holding deposit to secure it, a standard procedure I promptly followed. It is therefore bewildering and discouraging that the leasing office failed to honor its own process, leasing the apartment to another applicant while my application was pending. One would expect a luxury apartment building to have a basic grasp of its own leasing protocols and respect for its tenants. This initial incompetence was compounded by a failure to return my $500 deposit. I've lived at Caesura Brooklyn for nearly three years and it's a wonderful place to live. Our 2-bedroom apartment is spacious for our family of three and the amenities are very nice and carefully maintained. You cannot beat the location in Fort Greene. Further, it feels like a community with the other residents. Everyone is respectful and kind to one another. Special shout out to our amazing resident manager Sheik, who takes great care in everything he does.

We have been living in Caesura for over two years now and it has been the best managed building we have lived in. The resident manager (Sheik) is dedicated, friendly, and available when needed. The building is always clean, the staff does a great job at keeping everything clean and sanitized. We are glad that throughout the pandemic we were living here because of how well things were managed. We truly recommend this building to anyone looking for a great location and a great place to live.

Caesura is a gorgeous residence to live at… it tucked in the middle of downtown Brooklyn. Location is awesome, giving you access to the atlantic terminal all the trains and so many restaurants. The supers, Christian and Osman, are amazing they keep the building looking beautiful! Their craftsmanship is second to none. They are always cheerful. They always have time to address your concerns and never let you down!
