Cabin Creek

I moved in during August of 2021. It’s been good for the most part has one of the best rates in the west end and that’s why I stay. Maintenance is good at completing service requests within 24 hours for the most part. One issue I’ve ran into this year is that I was told at the Cabincreek office that’s it’s $100 for a replacement pool pass. Now the pool pass isnt digital or anything fancy it is just a blue rubber band that is even too small to go on any normal adults wrist. I kept this pool pass on my keychain cause I had nowhere else’s to put it and it randomly fell off this year. I’ve called colony trying to get someone on the phone to explain this ridiculous pricing for another pool pass and have not been able to. Maybe this will get their attention. Maintenance in this property is a joke. It will take them days to fix smal simple things in your home.if kitchen disposal or just light need repair. You be waiting for days . and if something major you need it to be fixed forget it.

Moved in about a month ago and things are great so far. Maintenance has been on point resolving the handful of tickets I've had to put in within 24-48 hours max. One took 3 days, but only because they had to wait for a contractor and they communicated with through the entire process. The leasing office has been very friendly and professional as well. The apartments themselves are incredibly solid and spacious.

I applied for an apartment in April 2025 with and expected move in date of 06/03/2025. During the lease process l shown and promised a 1st floor newly renovated apartment ( which I loved and wanted to lease) During the application process I was asked if I would like a larger apartment, that would be similarly to the apartment I was shown. I agreed to the larger apartment, paid security deposit, and prorated rent. On the move in day, I asked to view the apartment prior to signing lease and was shown a completely different apartment, a 3rd floor apartment!!! I explained I did not want a 3rd floor apartment due to health issues and was basically told I agreed to the larger apartment and the larger apartment was a 3rd floor. I explained I wasn’t informed that the larger apartment which was off
