Would give zero stars if I could. Elevators are constantly out of order. Drug addicts are constantly roaming the property and hallways and causing disturbances, the fire alarm goes off at random times usually around 2-3am. This place was a damn nightmare to live in when I lived there. Do not rent here.
EDIT: Downgraded my rating to a 1 star, because 2 stars was just too generous. This place keeps going downhill, and fast. Don't live here until they change the way they run things. Also, not all of my photos that I uploaded of the building are showing up on their Google page. I added them to this review instead, so they don't get lost or buried. The apartment rooms are nice & cheap, and all of the appliances are new. There are quite a bit of friendly residents, and I’ve been able to carve out my own oasis for myself….but the building environment itself is not great. Porch pirates are common, since most packages get delivered in front of your door where there’s NO cameras in the hallways to catch people who do it. The entire building’s fire alarm system gets triggered once or twice a month
I lived here for almost 3 years and it was the worst living experience I ever had. They market their apartments as ADA compliant, yet have no evacuation plans for disabled people living on upper floors and the elevators are constantly out of service. The fire alarms go off every other week and the managers never tell the tenants what is going on. They have the capacity to raise our rent and leave notes taped to our doors, but ignores our pleas for help because the building is falling apart. This is a brand new building that houses many disabled people, people living in poverty, and families. This should not be happening. Portfolio investment companies should not be the go to people to manage affordable housing. I have countless emails that were sent to management and never were responded
March 2026 update: ROACHES. Roaches on every floor, crawling around visibly in the hallways, entering apartments. Problem is rapidly worsening. Management doing nothing to fix the issue, even with multiple residents alerting them multiple times. Original review below Great building, horrible people. The good: Relatively new building with lovely apartments you could call home. Near the MAX but well soundproofed, you won’t hear the trains unless the rare case that something is wrong out there. Good hard floors, good appliances, no bugs. No mold, building is very responsive to fixing water damage. VERY sturdy doors. The bad: the people. You know how I know the doors are so sturdy? From the guy down the hall that regularly tries to kick them down. The people are just insane. They constantl
Management does the bare minimum. Too many issues with break-ins including the bike rooms. Has security cameras yet never on. Says they have security yet you never see them. Elevators are constantly having issues. Shared laundry with theft. Stairwells smell like trash and drugs. Trash rooms are always a mess. Handicap accessible? They say it is, yet has a high wall tub instead of walk/roll in shower. Counters and sinks are still too high. Little storage in handicap accessible areas including the kitchen. Unless it's your last option, don't bother. This includes its sister building across the street.
