Half shady and rude, half kind and great at their role. The 3.1 rating is accurate for a reason. I was a tenant here for four years. I always paid rent on time, kept my apartment tidy, was quiet and rarely made maintenance requests. The Property Manager, Wendi, is great. She always was super responsive whenever I needed her, helped with any issues and seems to have a genuine, vested interest in your tenancy. She’s super caring and has a high level of understanding. Angela Bails, however, gave me the opposite experience. She’s extremely disconnected, doesn’t understand what goes on in her buildings and berates tenants annually without explanation or reason. Had a showing scheduled with Wendi at 5, but she never showed up. Despite multiple calls and attempts to reach her, we got no response. That alone speaks volumes about how this business is run. Honestly, glad this didn’t work out for us—definitely not a great first impression. To make matters worse, Brotherton Investments has only one phone number, and it goes straight to voicemail half the time. If this is how they treat potential tenants, I can only imagine the nightmare of actually living here and trying to get in touch with a landlord. Wouldn’t recommend wasting your time.

After living at 2894 Coral Court for 2.5 years and not having a single complaint or late rent payment, Brotherton way overcharged for cleaning, carpet cleaning, light bulbs, and "repairs." The apartment was cleaned and left in better shape than when I took over yet, was charged the full security deposit (full months rent) as well as additional charges beyond that. The itemized charges were obscenely overpriced. When researching, how to handle this I found that there are charges just to create a complaint in court to fight the unfair itemized charges as well as having to pay court fees/take a day off from work. I would highly recommend NOT renting from this apartment company. Their buildings are brand new, but there is no soundproofing. We hear our neighbors CONSTANTLY, whether having sex, their dogs barking and the sound of their claws on the wood floors, or even just walking or talking. My roommate and I have been woken up countless times due to the excessive noise. The worst part is that we have complained to the company at least a dozen times and they do absolutely nothing about it. They told us that we should expect this living in an apartment building; however, we have both lived in multiple apartment buildings filled with partying college students and have NEVER had a noise problem this outrageous. I stayed there for 6 months at 2894 coral court and not at all good experience and not recommend anyone I went to Brother ton's office, which is not there at all with my surprise and they don't respond to the phones of the tenant and they will loot your money for small damages also after vacating the apartment (ex: for stove burner she charged 600$) I would highly recommend NOT renting from this apartment company.
