Brookside Village Apartments

I grew up here and lived here for 12 years with my family. Would definitely not recommend! Neighbors were awful and always loud. But I guess I didn't really notice cause I was a kid. That's also something, lots of kids. I had my bike stolen and vandalized on so many occasions it was insane. Kids would throw rocks at cars, and destroy absolutely anything you had on the front porch. I remember I couldn't even use sidewalk chalk because the neighbor would dump a bucket of water all over it the second I was done. I couldn't even climb trees with my friends because adults would get mad at us and then the landlords started to cut branches and whole trees down so we couldn't climb them any more. I've lived here for a little while now hopefully for not much longer.It's subsidized housing so as you can imagine there are a fair share of beauts living here.One of the hardest things to grasp in the year 2021 is that they allow residents to smoke in the building,you're not allowed to smoke in the hallways,laundry room or in the community room but it doesn't matter because the smoke makes it out to the rest of the building from the people's clothing when they smoke inside their units.Its 2021 you can't smoke just about everywhere but they allow it to go on here. The buildings were built in the early 80's and they don't fix something unless it's broke and they don't update things.I live in one of the senior buildings,when I applied to live here I didn't know that there were family units a

I'm a home health aide so I've been to a couple of these senior buildings.My last client that I took care of until she passed lived in Bldg 108,lots of cigarette smokers and loitering around the main entrance.As soon as you're buzzed in you can smell the cigarette smoke in the hallways,it's embedded in the walls and carpet.I definitely would not go back there if my agency asked me to.Beware of Bldg 108.

Looks pleasant in a beautiful area. Folks seem to enjoy living there. Friendly staff.

Great to live but some neighbors are very disrespectful. But other than that its nice and clean !
