Brookhollow Apartments

This was my first apartment by myself and I was here for a year. Before I moved into my 1br they painted the walls and installed beautiful flooring. I loved it here, anytime I had an issue Christy would send maintenance to fix it right away. It was a very nice and quiet place to live. Landscape and pool upkeep were done weekly and the complex looked great year round. I hate to leave but I’m relocating, if I return to Wichita I would most certainly stay here again.

I lived at Brookhollow apartments for the last year. It was a great experience. Not only were the apartments accommodating for my needs, but my unit was also affordable and accessible almost immediately. The landlord, Kristy, is one of the sweetest people I’ve ever encountered; she was very informative when I moved in, gracious when I needed a few days to get my rent paid, helpful with any issues during my stay, and all around just a joy to interact with. Jeremy , the maintenance man, is very genuine and helpful. He works so hard to keep the area functioning well and looking nice. Although I did just move out, I would recommend these apartments to anyone. Truly a total desepcion, they gave us the apartment in terrible conditions, cat hairs, dust everywhere. The manager was informed and ignored. Finally to leave the apartment impeccable they did not return the deposit because supposedly cleaned and washed the carpet what is a lie because they did not even do it when we first moved in. The laundry room is disgusting and the home appliances are old give you a lot of problems. Window's and doors let a lots of air thru. And be careful with the Pizza Hut drivers because they turn in apartments parking lots all day long.

At Brookhollow you get what you pay for, which is why rent is so cheap. Bugs, bugs, bugs. There was always so many bugs in my apartment no matter what I did to ward them away or how many times the people came in and sprayed my studio. The walls are paper thin, I often heard the renter behind me, snoring in their sleep almost every night. Maintenance is incredibly slow. I had a broken curtain/divider in my studio and let the office know about it in January 2020, it never got fixed even though I sent countless reminder emails about it, I moved out May 2020. I deep cleaned that entire apartment and still got a cleaning fee taken out of my deposit. I recommend finding a different apartment because there's better options out there than here.

Living under hardwood floors is a miserable experience. I have had a lot of problems with noise ever since they tore the carpet out of the upstairs apartment and replaced it with hard wood. Every step, every bump and knock rings through into my apartment. Dont rent one of the lower level apartments if you can help it.
