I purchased a home from a older couple in 2024 that was built by Bridges Drywall in 2017. Prior to buying the home I noticed some unusual construction ques. Electrical outlets and light switches located in unusual locations on the walls and where they were placed in the room, Though that may not seem be a problem but it makes it inconvenient when placing lights and extension cords or power strips have to be use on more than 40% of the electrical outlets because of the inconvenient location of the wall outlet. I also discovered some electrical outlets move around because they are lose in the electrical box. I'm sure that isn't up to code. Let me start by saying my husband and I could not be more excited and thrilled about our new custom dream home. Bridges Custom Homes clearly took our vision and turned it into reality. David and his staff are absolutely amazing, from the workers in the field to the ladies in the office. Everyone was so professional and no stone was left unturned. I regret buying my house from Bridges for the simple fact I was promised to have punch items completed prior to my closing. The couple items addressed were appalling and in addition, they damaged the carpet by caulk and paint droppings. No response from the office and the neighborhood Bridges built, no one has had any punch items completed either or correspondaces for months. Shotty work done on some punch items. We held up our part of the agreement and Bridges is failing. "Replaced the drip edge" is by far the worse thing I have seen. They even spray painted it on the concrete so now I have spray paint lines.

I just say make sure they do youre punch list before you buy the house . I wasted time off and money with there contractors and had to replace my own sliding door ,window , crown molding that just fell down and now my concrete peeling and owner said he dont know what to do.waste of time calling

We’ve been in our custom home for 5 years now and have had problem after problem, most notably, water issues. The sprinkler lines at the junction lines separate and create so much water that it elevates the grass. I’m told this is due to over use of the glue. It’s a major project to dig up the landscape to repair these as they go bad. Also, we’ve consistently had indoor plumbing issues since the beginning: backed up toilets, sewer lines, faucets not installed properly and leaking as well as the outdoor shower pipes burst. The tubs were not level, so adding shower doors was an issue. The crown molding is separating all throughout the house and the plank tile has several cracks (not from use, 3 of them are in various closets).
