I'm sharing this long review to shed light on my experience living at Franklin House under the management of Brick Management and Tionna Christopher (Markowski). Anything associated with Brick Management or Tionna Christopher's name is synonymous with poor living conditions and subpar management practices. The staff's demeanor was consistently inattentive, inconsiderate, and unprofessional. From July 2023 to April 2024, my time at Franklin House was marred by numerous issues indicative of poor management and maintenance standards. In July, I immediately observed several concerning deficiencies in the unit. Receptacle outlets were improperly installed, with coverings cut to fit irregular spots. The walls were hastily painted, resulting in mismatched shades of white. Blinds were dysfunction

RATS, ROACHES, DOORS THAT DON’T LOCK Please, please, please avoid this management company and their properties at all costs. I saw the Google reviews before moving into the Netherlands building, but I didn’t think management could possibly be as bad as the reviews claimed. It was in fact worse. When I moved in the oven and stove did not work, and it took SEVERAL calls and emails for it to be replaced. While I was living here the building door broke multiple times, locking people out. My dogsitter and dog were locked out of the building in the early morning in freezing weather in January, and nobody answered the office phone or emergency line. The door was broken and left completely unlocked for over a month. If you care about living in a building with a main door that actually locks, avoid

management is a disaster. i moved here 2 months ago and there are building wide issues daily. just in the last 3 days the fire alarm has gone off for the whole building and now the elevator is down and not expected to be fixed for a week. within 10 days of me moving in, there was a leak in my bathroom ceiling which spread into my closet and all over my clothes. it took 9 days for maintenance to fix the problem (water actively leaking out of the ceiling into my unit this whole time). now there are multiple gaping holes in my ceiling for nearly 2 months with no updates as to when they will be fixed. management is impossible to get a hold of and when you do they are either rude or unaware. i have maintenance requests that were opened when i first moved in that still haven't been addressed.

I moved into a Brick building in June. Upon moving in, the dishwasher didn't work, the washer/dryer didn't work, there were wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke detector was supposed to be, and the fan and light were controlled by other people's remotes, meaning the lights turn on at all hours of the night. This problem was just fixed today (November) after months of me calling, emailing, and putting in maintenance requests. The closet shelving collapses, there is a recurrent leak from the ceiling in my bathroom and it took them months to respond to a fruit-fly infestation after a burst pipe flooded the building. The building flood made the gym unusable and it has still not reopened. I was told the roof would be open on July 4th and it is now November and it is not open. I am sti

It was a disaster trying to get approved for one of their new buildings as someone who is self employed, but by the looks of these reviews it seems like I dodged a bullet. My partner and I were told by a leasing agent to send in our 1040 tax documents to prove our combined gross income. This leasing agent clearly didn’t know how to read the tax document and told us he “couldn’t use capital gains as income.” Which is fine because we did not have any capital gains in the first place. So after highlighting our more than sufficient combined gross income, the property manger, Tionna, gives us a call and tells us she can’t use our tax documents at all to prove income and that they won’t go through our bank statements from the past few months either. There seemed to be a lot of miscommunication
