I’m writing this so future renters know what to expect. I signed a lease for a specific hardwood unit with an approved move-in date. I paid toward my refundable security deposit and even activated renters insurance for that exact unit. Days before move-in, I found out on my own that my unit had been switched. Nobody contacted me, and nobody asked for my approval. I had to call to figure out what unit I was supposed to be moving into. Management then had me change my renters insurance to match the new unit they chose without my consent. The replacement unit was a downgrade (carpet and upstairs). When I declined that downgrade, my move-in date was delayed. Then it was delayed again and I was shown yet another unit. At no point was the unit I signed for ever delivered on the agreed date. Impo

How about negative 5 stars. 1. Look at your actual unit before you sign. The model is very well kept. 2. Pests. Expect them. I found cracks in the floor and holes under the sink in the walls behind the cheap cabinets where bugs were free to roam about your apartment and they’re the same color as that ugly brown flooring. I had to keep my dishes in the dishwasher and all of the food was either in the fridge or in sealed containers that I purchased on my own. 3. Serious water damage, no especially after the last serious storm we had. FEMA gave me a voucher to help with expenses and a hotel because it was so bad. 4. Rude customer service- they need to let some people go, especially Jill from Richdale. 5. Clean your unit before you move your stuff in. It won’t be clean- expect to find hair and

RUN FAST!!! The worst experience you can imagine. I lived in these apartments 3.5 years and these people were awful. - New management are evil slumlords who will argue with you if you try to bring anything to their attention. - The office never answers the phone but when you walk in the office, they’re not busy- just ignoring calls. At least when Debbie was here you were treated in a civil manner and maintenance was sent over in a timely manner. - MAKE SURE YOU SEE YOUR APARTMENT BEFORE YOU SIGN THE LEASE. They are big fans of the bait and switch. - Black mold is EVERYWHERE but they’ll offer to paint over it if you bring it to their attention. -Accounting will charge you repeatedly for not having renters insurance and refuse to return your money when you send them proof the policy never la

Just, don't do it. Criminality. Homeless people sleeping in the laundry rooms. Neighbors stealing packages. People selling drugs like candy in the parking lots. Maintenence fix things when they want, be ready to post the work order a few times. Waited more than a year for them to fix my Roof, even when they knew that water was coming in from the electric faucet. On my move out, I got charged for a ceiling fan repair and blinds even when I PLACED A WORK ORDER LIVING THERE AND THEY NEVER FIXED. On top of that, I'm been charged for 6 days of rent and utilities EVEN WHEN I POSTED I WAS MOVING OUT NOT 2, MORE THAN 3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE.
