Briar Grove Apartments

I lived at Briar Grove for two years and generally enjoyed the community. However, my move-out experience was disappointing. I returned the apartment clean with normal wear and tear and provided documentation, but I was charged significant fees for routine turnover cleaning and labor that were not tied to specific tenant-caused damage. Despite raising the issue and escalating it, the charges were upheld at the property-management level. Prospective tenants should be very clear on move-out expectations and how cleaning and labor charges are assessed. I recommend documenting everything carefully.

Tristan has been an awesome landlord and the apartments are very nice and modern! It has all basic necessities, and then some. The mail rooms are very secure and the building is very safe. It is really handicapped accessible with wheelchair ramps and an elevator! The rooftop patios feature stunning views and the neighbors were very kind every time I interacted with them. Sits just outside of Decorah, so it is a quick drive to a Walmart and quaint little stores to enjoy something local. Something I appreciate is that the buildings are pet friendly!! I highly recommend this place for couples looking for a cozy, and secure place to start a new adventure!!
