Update: I did get a follow up call from the complex manager regarding this post. However she only called to advise me that they were NOT going to remove the $7 charge. I asked to speak to someone from the corporate office. She politely told me I could look up the number and contact them anytime! Then she hung up. After finally finding the number to call 1st Lake, I had to leave several messages. Finally, I had a missed call from Britney R, and called back promptly. I was told Britney was out of town and wouldn’t be back for a week. Needless to say I paid the $7, actually I couldn’t pay the rent UNLESS I paid it. I’ve said all that to say tenant loyalty and tenant appreciation is non existent here, and the DOLLAR is their only concern. So just in case you find yourself in a situation that

If I can give it zero stars, I would. Very disappointing experience with 1st Lake Properties. Communication with corporate is almost nonexistent. I’ve submitted multiple concerns and rarely any follow up. Then, shortly after, I began receiving notices from the manager of the property that felt retaliatory and poorly timed. It’s frustrating when issues aren’t addressed properly, but enforcement suddenly becomes strict only after raising concerns. The handling of situations feels inconsistent and very selective. I expected better treatment and more professionalism from a company of this size. I plan to move soon and I will also be sharing my experience with the proper channels. Been here 2 years. No issues, pretty quick maintenance. Love location being lafreniere park is couple minute walk. Safe area. Everything you need is close. I live in many apartment communities and I have had better experience here than the others honestly. Not planning on leaving anytime soon.

I haven’t had any problems since moving to Breckenridge other than the normal wear and tear and the office Manger Gay has been super attentive with getting someone out and also answering any questions . My only issue would be parking because if coming in the complex after 8pm there is basically no parking available and I don’t think we have that many residents that live in this small complex . Also I wish the apartment was more up to date . But other than that no complaints over here .

Breckenridge is the fourth apartment that I've lived in, and so far, tied with the best. I chose the apartment complex not for absolute perfection, but on account of it being the best balance of a number of factors: value, location, neighborhood, and the apartments themselves. My apartment is old, but well maintained, and the best apartment for the price I found in several full days of searching. Everything works properly, and the few concerns that I had on move-in were quickly and professionally addressed. I picked one of the smallest units; I opted for it for the price, but like it for the floor plan that has lots more closet space than most comparable units I checked out.
