Braywood Manor

Visted a friend who has a disability. My friend complained that she doesn't feel safe going to the laundry, or anywhere in Braywood Manor due to the fact that there is no Security Officers present on the scene. I find this very dangerous for the tenants, especially the disabled. Security in this building is not present. I witnessed this myself. I think this is illegal and should be looked into by the city of Norfolk. As a former security officer working public places, I worked with emergency crews to assisted them in their process of protecting of handling emergency situations. This can't happen at Braywood Manor because they have no Security Officers or Security Guards employed there. I gave Braywood Manor one star. They deserve no stars at all. I have a client in this building and hoping that he would move. They are rude, unprofessional, and don't care about the handicap or their resident. The manager looks right at you and roll her eyes. Recent story, The building is going through renovations (thank god) but during this renovations the only accommodation they offered was for a HANDICAP, BED BOOUND person was to sit in a TV room from 8am to 5pm.... I asked how do you expect for him to use the bathroom, she said like everyone else. I said you expect for a handicap person who's total care to go into a stall with his caregiver to use the restroom. Are you kidding me? Needless to say they are HORRIBLE people and I wish Johnson Franklin cared more about the HANDICAP and MINORITY!

Put in a request for information about apartment rental. Left all the info they requested on 09/01/24. Still as of 09/05/24. still haven't heard from them. So it must be a fake website. Guess I have to contact Google about a fake website.

This place is just a JOKE. They don't care about their tenants. Multiple complaints about management. Management plain ignores the needs of their tenants. Nothing is ever fixed. Their are individuals who are in need of Air conditioning due to their Health, and yet nothing gets done. Management needs to be replaced for this place to get better

Building is in an unsafe area. They ID you just to visit someone. Guest parking has no lighting for a bad neighborhood
