As my star rating shows, I am very disappointed by my experience with Brass Financial, particularly with Ryan’s team. Despite submitting every requested document promptly and communicating consistently, my DSCR loan package floundered for weeks due to internal errors and mismanagement. Additionally, Ryan ordered the wrong appraisal type (long-term instead of short-term), which I never requested and even recommended against. This error significantly affected the underwriting results. Later, the required down payment was increased at the last minute without prior discussion. These mistakes and communication lapses ultimately forced me to transfer my loan to another lender just before closing—something no borrower wants to experience.
