Lived here for a year. So glad to be out. There was pee all over building 3000. In the elevator. Dog poop all over the grounds. Management does not care about you. They charge you for everything. Rent increases astronomical. Not worth it. Stay away at all costs.

I can’t comment on living here (just drove up for the Kirkbride building) but the preservation job on the main building is absolutely beautiful. The memorial is a nice touch as well, lots of info and historic photos from the hospitals history. I will say, I don’t know why you’d put all this effort into preserving a building knowing people will come admire your work, and then cover the property in no trespassing and towing zone signs. Just a heads up for people like me only interested in the building, the visitor lots are tow-away only overnight (if I read the signs right).

HUGE MOUSE ISSUE. DO NOT MOVE HERE. I lost my family home in the LA fires in Jan and looked forward to my first chance of real rest and recovery at Bradlee by moving here after we got married this summer. My husband has been living here for 4 years. Before I moved in earlier this year he had the first sighting of droppings on top of a kitchen cabinet. He patched up the hole only to find huge gaps under the base boards in the kitchen where the construction just left it unfinished and he used steel mesh to fill them. This past week he saw a mouse scurry from the kitchen and when we came home that very night while pulling our bed comforter off we found a MOUSE IN OUR BED. We were beyond distressed. No droppings, no warnings, just a mouse in our bed… we spent the next few hours trying to catch

Penny pinching on every little thing, packages get stolen with no real follow up despite “working” cameras. Now charging for amenities that were sold to us as the perks of living here in the beginning as part of the rents that we already pay. Very high rent increases with worse online support for any services. Bradlee could try to become more resident friendly by offering longer lease terms and reasonable rent increases. Another joke is the limitations to transfer into another apartment…the amount charged for ‘breaking’ your lease despite moving into one of their apartments is ludicrous- basically you either move out or you move out, but Bradlee makes no effort in encouraging current residents to continue living here

When UDR took over, it went downhill! I lived there for 4 years with no problems and small increases in rent per year, but on the 5th year...UDR took over the complex and tried to raise our rent $350 and would barely move in negotiations. UDR does not care about you, just the money. When they took over, they added a parking fee, but it is open parking with no other options of parking since the complex is isolated (paying or an unreserved parking spot when your not in a city is ridiculous)! They also tell you a day-ish prior before they come into your apartment for maintenance things. Before UDR, the complex would provide a week's notice at the least before they entered your apartment for maintenance etc. After UDR took over, we were often given 24 hrs notice or less... which can be tricky
