Bourne Mill Apartments

As a family oriented professional, I highly recommend anyone to look somewhere else before considering this apartment complex as your place of residence. There is no aspect of luxury living attached to this apartment complex, the list is endless of the reasons I regret moving and spending the amount of money to first move into this place and then to move out. There is no sense of peace nor safety that you will feel living at Bourne Mills, the exact opposite is true, not to mention your vehicles will get wrecked by other residents and unattended children, maintenance is subpar to say the least, the building is literally falling apart, the building is constantly riddled with rodents, and the smells the sips into your apartment is none stop. No accommodation for elderly residents. My grandmother lives on her own there and is currently in the hospital and on her way to the nursing home. Her son came down to help and was not allowed to stay in her apartment with or without her since he “was not on the lease”. The front desk administration has not been helpful at all with this process. They do not return calls and they’re never in the office. When they were in the office, they tried to refuse my aunt service because “they weren’t open”. Maintenance said they would be able to print us a key if the tenant gives written/verbal authorization. The front desk administration said that was false. Trying to get my grandmother out of there ASAP!!

I lived there for almost four years, it's one the worst places to live . Bad management and book keepers. They will over charge you years down the road and refuse to give you your deposit back, they will doctor their book to make it look like its your fault make sure you keep all documents . Don't be mislead with the outer appearance of the building . There are drugs and always a police presence for something going on . As fare as the apartments most part of the building the roof leaks and cabinets falling apart as well as the air-conditioned will not work and lets not for get to discuss the rodent problems along with the bedbugs issues . This place is like slum loards on steroids..look else where ...

Been here a week and should've listened to the reviews , kids under 18 cant play anywhere on the property without adult supervision. No riding bikes, no taking out garbage, no playing catch. Come home to the smell of weed everynight, the 1 bright thing is maintenance has been very helpful, that is till they towed my car for being < 2 feet over a barely visible white line. Top it off , they towed my car to massachusetts which is close but are there no Rhode Island towing companies ? Not staying off too well, Office People seem nice, then you move in and you're just income to them.

I have lived at Bourne Mill since 2010. A variety of residents live at Bourne Mill these days. Some apartments are fit for one or two people. Some are big enough for a family of four or more. The management that arrived in 2022 have been improving the property tremendously. Security of the property has vastly improved, indoor and outdoor security cameras have recently been installed. Other improvements inside the building are still underway as of June 2024. Improvements to accommodated my needs are also being planned for my own apartment. Maintenance is typically prompt at responding to residents requests. Often they are able to fix any minor issues within a day or two. Hallways are cleaned and vacuumed weekly.
