I had a deeply disappointing and frustrating experience with Botero Homes in Reston, Virginia. In January 2023, my husband and I began the process of building our dream home on our five-acre lot. At first, Mr. Botero appeared very eager and consistent, frequently following up and reassuring us. We shared our floor plan and budget of $1.4 to $1.5 million, and he confirmed that it was entirely feasible. However, we were told that before his team could begin working on our plan, we needed to sign an agreement and provide a $5,000 deposit. Despite our hesitation, both Mr. Botero and his assistant assured us that everything would be fine, so we moved forward and wrote the check. We have been working with Botero Homes since February 2021. The owners, Mr. Omar Botero & Mr. Ihab are masters at what they do and thorough professionals. They have a great vision in creating masterpieces when it comes to the business of home building. The quality of their work is visible and speaks for itself. They welcome your creative ideas and incorporate them into your home. And above all, the entire staff makes you feel extremely comfortable & at ease during the whole process of home building. The entire staff is very welcoming and friendly. As a customer, we are extremely satisfied with the product of their hard work.

We were in the process of building our custom dream home, met with a few builders. Botero Homes hands down stood out. From the start Management was very upfront ,professional and extremely knowledgeable. Mr Botero & Ihab proved experience and professionalism throughout the contract process. Both are always available no matter the time or day. Botero Homes worked with our budget. If your looking for a custom home builder Botero Homes should be on your list . Sketchy builder. Advertises on lots they don’t own. Constantly changing and updating “listings” on Zillow with “model” homes they don’t actually own or have built.
