Bonita Terrace Apartments

Typically, I am not one to post reviews except Bonita Terrace management and grounds exceed expectations and it warrants one. Melissa and Cassandra reply immediately when there is an issue, and it’s resolved same day or within 24 hours. My wife, Liz and I always receive courteous calls, texts, or emails when speaking with management regarding our apartment. Letter notices are placed on the front door if any work is to be done, and notifications about upcoming maintenance. This place would be at the top of the list for accommodating a quiet, beautiful, and pleasant apartment complex in Claremont. Also, it is the best we have found overall and priced reasonably. The residents are friendly and no loud parties here! Many walk their dogs inside the lush grounds, which are well kept. Cleanlin

I absolutely LOVE living at Bonita Terrace! It’s beautiful, quiet, and is in a very convenient location. You can really tell how much the owners must love it too, because their managers and maintenance guys are always there when you need them. They’re polite, friendly, and they always handle everything to my expectation. I can truly say I feel right at home, and I always tell people you couldn’t pay me to move away from here. It’s a hidden gem in an already wonderful town! I adore my neighbors as well. Everyone here’s is so nice, it really feels like it’s own little community.

The Manager is extremely rude! We were interested in applying for an apartment and discussed all the requirements, but as soon as we mention we’re section 8 voucher holders, she changed her whole tone. It’s obvious she’s never worked with a section 8 tenant before because she didn’t even know there has to be an inspection upon move in. The manager hung up on me after i tried to explain to her that she can’t disregard Housing rules. She told me i was being rude and verbally abusive and hung up. Please don’t apply here, the manger is very discriminatory. She also doesn’t have any respect for section 8 holders what so ever. Please be careful.

I worked with Michelle in arranging a tour. She was very courteous and worked with my schedule. The apartments are super cute and you can tell the maintenance team puts a lot of care into them. I especially loved the color schemes and the light colored wood floor in the newly renovated models.

Scheduled an over the phone appointment with a gentleman who was the only one I can say was nice, but when I got there the next day he had forgotten we had spoken the day before we had an appointment that same day. After we were done with the very short tour I walked in to the leasing office to speak to a female with at the time had blonde hair and glasses that claimed to be a "manager", when I walked in to the office she looked at me up and down rolled her eyes at me, like judging me by my looks. This "manager" absolutely did not want to have me fill out an application and demanded I give her proof of 5 years of my bank account statements as well as pay stubs. This also includes the bills I pay as well as what I spend my money on, demanded 3k as a security deposit plus first months rent.
