My husband and I rented a house with a preoccupied landlord, Blue Jay development purchased the property from him and treated us great! They were very responsive to old and new problems. I will always appreciate how the people there made our house a home.

Rent from ANYONE else in omaha, DO NOT RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE! Tried harassing me and my roommates 6 months after we moved out for “Additional charges” from our one year of renting with them. They don’t take care of their properties, the first time we turned on our heat for the winter we immediately smelt gas, had to call MUD’s emergency line, and found out that the gas line was blocked and bypassing into the house. Please do not rent with these people! If you are unlucky enough to be renting from these people PLEASE reach out to Omaha Tenants united! Know your rights as a renter!!

The story of how my family was lied to and mistreated is too long to fit on a Google review. That said, I will gladly share every last detail with anyone who wants it, including photos, video, and email and text conversations if that's what it takes to convince you never to lease from these people. We saw all the pretty pictures of homes they manage, and assumed that we were going to move into a great place. What we got was a dump, one that didn't have basic necessities like a working oven or toilets that worked for the first several weeks we lived there. (One toilet even had human feces in it the day we moved in and no water line connected to flush it down, and despite being told about this shortly after moving in it was not addressed for weeks!). I rented from them from 2016-2018 and had left a 1 star review on another account but never left reasons as to why. Please, do NOT rent from these people. They do not care about individual tenants and are happy to take your money. Long story short, when we were moving out, we had a ton of issues. Impromptu house showings, to which we were berated for having an unclean house (every tenant worked, and we had about 1 hour heads up while we were all at work). We had our microwave and kitchen light go out about 3 months before we moved. They never fixed them until the week we moved out, and I suspect they did that because they knew we were leaving. In the meantime there was exposed wire from the broken light the whole time, and we couldn’t cook much because the kitchen was too dark without li
