Block 334 Apartments

My apartment complex manager, Elena, is absolutely wonderful! She’s always professional, friendly, and quick to respond to any concerns or maintenance requests. You can tell she truly cares about the residents and works hard to keep the community running smoothly. Elena is one of the managers at Block 334 on Main Street in Houston, and I normally don’t write reviews, but her professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness truly deserve recognition. She always listens and helps with anything I need in my apartment — never turning me down and always treating everyone with respect and care. It’s so refreshing to have a manager who goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home. Thank you Elena!

If I could give Block 334 zero stars, I would. This was by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. The building constantly had maintenance and electrical issues. One of the elevators broke down nearly every week for the entire two years I lived there, sometimes being out of service for months. I was even trapped in an elevator for 45 minutes, and instead of calling the fire department, maintenance told me I’d just have to wait until their contractor arrived. Completely unacceptable. Last fall, management claimed the building had foundation issues and would run on a generator with “scheduled” weekly outages. Instead, we endured random blackouts multiple times a day, for months. Communication was vague and dismissive, higher management was unreachable, and after months of this, resid

10/19: My resident move-out statement has some surprising charges. I have much more I could disclose about this apartment from the broken elevators, slow updates from the the leasing office, and so much more. 10/23 update: Oh nice, corporate jargon to deflect a bad review. The same carpet not fully vacuumed before my lease (maybe I should attach my move-in statement). The billing in my possession states billing charges are for 99 days (6/17 - 9/26).
