Berkshire Sheboygan Falls

I first saw these apartments online three years ago and every year I would call and check on pricing/availability. I loved the idea of the school being saved and the classrooms turned into apartments. The fact that they were for 55 and older tenants made them even more appealing to me. This spring, I knew I was ready to make the move. Paul, whom I had spoken to the previous years, took my friend and I on a tour of the area, and we got to see one of the available units. After seeing that the nicely renovated apartment looked even better in person, I knew I had to make this my new home. To me, the appliances, fixtures, lighting, and flooring were tastefully chosen, and the renovation was very well done. We were shown the building by the manager and were told we would have no problem qualifying to rent. The manager never called us, we always had to call him and each time he would say; "I was just going to call you." The manager each time would tell us that only needed 1 more thing. We were then shown the apartment that would be ours and we told him we would take it, he said he would call when the lease was ready to sign. Once again we waited and called and were told we were over by $100.00. This process took 7 weeks. Don't believe what the manager tells you.

Initially, it seemed nice. Currently, we have snow removal issues, sulphuric odors from old plumbing, dirty hallway floors, dirty windows, odors from garbage not being taken out as regularly as it should.

Love the area, very quite, school decor like the lockers in the halls. Enjoy the senior living, comunity room, outdoor patio area and exercise room. Close to shopping. Everyone is very friendly. Come and take a tour of the building.
