Stay Clear! The Avon team at Berkshire Hathaway is beyond unethical, especially when dealing with Income Restricted Properties. The organization, namely Theresa Maselli & Sandy Fine, tried to get us/the buyer to pay for seller and buyer commissions, misc fees, moving expenses, etc etc which goes against every law in the book, especially State and Federally governed programs. When confronted, they moved on to a different offer, tried to avoid us, and eventually lied/covered up the entire scenario.

Awful.. absolutely awful. Make sure you read everything you're asked to sign before you sign. They deposited a $5K check outside of the contract. After my attorney said it was illegal, they still would not return my money after patiently waiting 3 weeks. Corporate ended up returning my money in less than 45 minutes after a direct call. Do yourself a favor and don't work with BHHS Avon- ever.
