We found a home and Bonnie Espy was the agent on it. We put in an offer of 50k above appraised value, and 10k above asking. The offer was contingent upon us selling our horse farm. The contract was accepted on a Thursday. The following Sunday, Bonnie holds a open house! Our agent called her and told her we dropped our home price by 75k for a quick sale to get the home we contracted on. We spent 1k on appraisal and inspection. The appraisal cane in at 500k. We were still willing to pay 50k over appraised value. We got a contract on our home yesterday and we were very excited, but that lasted about 10 minutes when my realtor called to tell Bonnie Espy, she told my realtor that she has another offer!
