I was disappointed to see that an agent from this company, Karen Evan’s made public comments online expressing very negative opinions about people who receive SNAP benefits. While everyone is entitled to personal opinions, I found these statements to be unprofessional and not reflective of the respect and fairness I would expect from someone representing a real estate company. Especially for the fact she told a SNAP recipient “I’m sorry you married a loser” I hope the company takes this kind of conduct seriously, as professionalism and empathy are so important in this field.

My husband and I went to an open house in Burgaw and met Lauren Ricks Tucker. She was nice and easy to talk to. When we left,my husband said if we get a realtor we will get her!!! Well after several showings of homes in Burgaw and couldn't quite find what we were looking for. She showed us a property for a new construction. So we decided to go with that to get exactly what we wanted. Lauren and her Dad , Art Ricks worked together and made the experience very easy .

The agent (Ashley Stewardson), representing the buyers, had an 11:30-12:30 showing on our property. Ten minutes 'til noon, our agent attempted to reach him about having not arrived yet. He didn't responded until 12:30, letting my agent know that he and his party would be there by 1:00. Having not arrived by 1:00, my agent reached out again. He responded at 1:45 to say that their ETA was now 2:10. After continuous failed communication, they finally showed up for their 11:30-12:30 showing at 2:20pm. Meanwhile, my wife and I were stuck outside of our home with 2 dogs... waiting. Completely unprofessional. I would highly recommend avoiding this agent from representing you.

Would not recommend this firm. Was working with Chris Castro and in the beginning he seemed to be attentive but as soon as we signed a contract he completely changed. He was more concerned about sellers wants and needs and pressured us to give seller what they wanted. Disclosed our appraisal report to the seller without asking and had attitude when confronted. Caused us to loose over 3100. He was more concerned about us taking on a bigger loan to make repairs so seller wouldn’t have to, when I reached out to his higher up they basically called us a liar and said he wasn’t in the wrong. If you are a first time home buyer I would recommend someone with more experience and someone who will advocate for you.
