Berkshire Apartments

I've lived here for a few years now, and it used to be a great affordable option in the area, but things really seem to have gone downhill. There is an active leak in one of my walls that's so loud it frequently wakes me up. After maintenance finally came by, they declined to even take a look at it, telling me "it's an old building, the pipes are going to be leaky." This is not a small leak, and I can hear it going for several hours a day — I'm somewhat concerned there could be a serious risk to the building, but I can't even get them to investigate. In general, they used to be very responsive to maintenance issues, but it now frequently takes them a week or more to take a look at even some fairly urgent requests.
