Berks Homes (Harrisburg Office)

Having built a home before we were VERY impressed with the building process with Berks. We enjoyed their selection gallery and being able to choose details as small as the kitchen cabinet knobs. Very great interactions from their sales team, selection gallery and our construction superintendent.

We bought our brand new Berks home in 2018. I wanted to wait until we had lived in for a while before I wrote a review. While overall the construction is ok, there are a lot of things that are terrible. We found out that Berks has no construction employees, everything is subbed out and therefore, pride in workmanship is nonexistent. Here is a list of my biggest issues, - The drywall finishing is horrible, cracked joints and corners everywhere. - The paint job also is terrible, really bad - We have had 4 plumbing leak issues. Two upstairs causing ceiling damage on the main floor. (The first leak was 3 days after moving in) - ALL OF THE FLOORS CREAK AND POP REALLY BAD. The subfloor was only nailed (no glue or screws) - Two walls at out of plumb by a significant amount - We have had 5 foundat

It was a pleasant experience working with Berks throughout the home buying process. We first initiated our talks with Jayson. He patiently answered all our questions and concerns and got us the lot and model we wanted at Morgan's crossing. Then came selections and Berks had wide range of options to choose from. Jesica from selections team made the entire process much easier with her experience and suggestions and we are very happy with the options we selected. Next was Scott who was our go-to person regarding any construction and house related questions. He was excellent during our dry wall and orientation meetings and we couldn't be any happier with all the information and help we got about our home and maintenance. I would also mention Toby here who patiently took care of our 1st warrant

We recently purchased Berks home in Morgan’s Crossing. It was a really good experience working with Jayson and Scott, both of them were kind and patient to answer all of our questions considering this is our very first house. For the selections we had to go to the Harrisburg office and Berks had a wide range of selections, Jessica was kind enough to be through the entire selection process , overall it was a great experience and would recommend it to everyone!

Berks Homes built my townhouse. I could not be more pleased with them. I love my new home at Creekvale. I just moved in a few months ago. Berks Homes made this a smooth and flawless process. The horror stories you hear when friends speak of their experiences building was not my experience with Berks Homes. They keep you in the loop and keep you informed about all the steps along the way. They help making the selections for your new home easy through their selection center. Everyone I had to deal with from Berks Homes was very professional and friendly. I highly recommend Berks Homes. Dontell Robinson was an absolute gem to work with along with those at the selection center. This has definitely been a positive experience. And the 10 year warranty on the home was icing on the cake
