So. I am the first person to say that things aren't perfect here. But rather than just complaining about that - know this - the apartments are very large, my appliances are gorgeous and I have a WD in my unit. The neighbors aren't my friends but they are all friendly people and living busy SF lives. The staff -- stretched thin but they didn't set the structure up - They are like you and me, going to work daily trying to do a good job. Especially Brehyonnia, Amaru and Allison. I will tell you the first year I complained alot - even called corporate twice. I have yelled at the staff, hung up on them and complained about everything the place doesn't have -- yet today, I signed my 3rd Year Renewal. No place in SF is perfect and I get that. But they have parking, are in a great location, are l
I lived here long enough to say the location and space are definitely the best parts of this apartment complex. The units are big, some even have closets (though most rely on the cheap metal shelving that can’t hold much weight). It’s advertised as “live/work” lofts, which would be great if you could actually open your windows—but with constant construction happening 5–7 days a week, that’s not realistic. Construction is expected to last through 2027. For the price, you’d expect the basics that most buildings in this range offer: gym, pool, roof deck, 24/7 security… but none of that exists here. The parking gate is constantly breaking. I’ve seen a homeless person in the garage, one neighbor had their car tampered with, and another has dealt with a cockroach issue. Mail theft is also a c
Hi Brehyonnia, thank you for reaching out. I did receive a call, but it rang once and disconnected before I could answer. When I attempted to call back twice, there was no response. I’ve already moved out, and my review reflects the full experience I had while living at Bennett Lofts. We experienced an apartment break-in that was handled with significant mismanagement and no meaningful follow up from the building. Our door was accessed twice by unknown individuals while we were away, which left us feeling unsafe and ultimately resulted in thousands of dollars in relocation costs. On top of that, there were ongoing issues throughout our tenancy, including a constant smell of marijuana in the building, repeated mail theft, and overall neglect to the tenants concerns. We reported these issue
After almost a year at Bennet Lofts, I'm warning future renters to look elsewhere. We've had constant problems: 2 sink refinishes (peeling again after 1 month) 2 pest control treatments for roaches 2 electrical outlet repairs Key fobs stopped working - couldn't access building Car broken into in parking garage 2 washing machine repairs Bathroom fan doesn't work 3 garbage disposal repairs 2 dishwasher repairs Constant marijuana smell throughout apartment Packages stolen from lobby regularly Unauthorized people accessing common areas and parking After all these issues, they want to raise rent by $200. Edit: Just found out our mail is being stolen from our mailbox!
**Warning: Do Not Live Here!** Living at this property was, without a doubt, the worst experience of my life! I am not exaggerating! The units are plagued by black mold and faulty appliances. Before even stepping inside, you have to navigate through groups of people doing drugs right outside the building. Once inside, you're met with filth, flies, rats, and an unsettling atmosphere filled with shady individuals. Shockingly, all of these issues pale in comparison to the nightmare that is the management!! I have lived in numerous cities and properties, but never have I encountered a management team so unresponsive and indifferent to tenant concerns and safety! Yes, the units are large, but that space is not worth the countless issues you'll be forced to deal with—and you *will* encounter
