My experience at this property 349 S La Fayette park pl was extremely disappointing, but the move-out process was by far the worst part—primarily due to the conduct of Cornell Sewell property manager. When I provided notice to move out, I was wrongfully accused of owing an additional month of rent, despite following the proper procedures outlined in my lease. Instead of calmly reviewing the documents or resolving the confusion, Cornell became hostile, confrontational, and raised his voice at me. His inability to manage his temper and speak to a tenant respectfully was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. I originally moved into this property 349 S La Fayette park pl during the pandemic when my one-bedroom unit was priced at $1600 month-to-month. At the time, it seemed reasonable and manageable. However, after several years of residing here, I can confidently say the experience has deteriorated to the point where the stress and ongoing issues far outweigh any initial affordability. I no longer live here obviously. Below are the top three reasons I would strongly advise potential renters to reconsider: 1. Poor Sanitation & Persistent Roach Infestations Cleanliness has been an ongoing concern throughout the property. EDIT: Since posting this review, the CEO stepped in, and the regional manager was finally able to help us resolve the issue below. We’re very grateful to have it resolved, though it’s unfortunate that it took a negative review to get the needed support. Unfortunately since taking over our apartment unit a lot has changed in the quality of service and communication we've received. I've been trying since January to solve an error in a charge and have been met with great nice professional people, an absolutely no path to resolution or actual movement. It's been six months of the most pleasant "we're looking into it, we're working on it". At this point it's clear they're just trying to have me give up on the $500 dollars they're trying to charge us retroactively for rent.
