Bear Garden Apartments

Guys, I am moving out this month! I think they will let other students to take my lease! Don’t live in first floor of bear garden!! This is very frustrating apartment. Don’t come (at least don’t choose the first floor) it has leaking and flooding problems. We have been trying to contact them to solve this problems with manager. Compared to solve problems, I feel they just wanna scare we international students with law problems. They said something like :”did you try to contact?” I said “we contacted 3 or 4 times at least, and you wanna us to show the records?” They kept saying “I didn’t see any here”. And they will say “ so you have ILLEGAL residents in your apartment?” We said “what you mean? We are on the contract” she will say “I only see one person, you only got modifications(I don’t

I lived here for two years while in college and the previous landlords did a great job at maintaining the property the year before I had moved in. Sad to say that Entrust has not lived up to that reputation as they have shown time and time again to be unreliable with communication and work orders for repairs. The apartment complex is convenient for travel to Missouri State's campus however the cost of living here is not worth it. If I were to do it all over again I would choose a different place to live. Bathrooms in both of my apartments had black mold and there is a pest problem. I hope that the quality of this apartment complex increases in the future however for now I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I lived here for a year and loved it. I had the unrenovated one which comes with the carpeted floor instead of hardwood floor. I was never a big fan of carpeted floor but I picked it since the apartment was cheaper. The only things I don't like about the apartment are: the walls are thin the walls are paper thin which mean zero privacy; and some of the washers and dryers in the community laundry room are not quite good. But for college apartment, this is pretty great! Also their maintenace service is very good. They usually fixed my problems in 24 hours or the next day:)

I’m not exaggerating with this rating. These people are impossible to contact in a timely and reasonable manner, and the units are absolutely disgusting and filled with cockroaches. The washing machines constantly break and they have a foul pool out in the back with plants growing out of it. This service would be reasonable if you were paying like $300/month. Again: Absolutely disgusting

Living here has been great! It’s very cost effective for being a student, and it’s so close to campus you can save so much money walking. I’ve been able to have my cats live with me for a very affordable cost and that to me has what really truly made this place home. I will say it is close to campus so the residents are going to be more college aged so everything that goes with that, but they have all been very respectful and keep to themselves. It’s been a great stay!
