I was approved for a low income apartment with the housing authority, I passed the criminal background check and income requirements, I have never had any evictions but I was denied because of my credit. I feel like as a property management company, you should not partner and work with the housing authority which serves low income population, if you are not going to be lenient when it comes to credit cards. I understand evictions and rental collections, but to receive a hard denial over credit cards collections is disappointing. There were times I had to prioritize paying my rent over my credit cards unfortunately, and this company will not hear you out over that fact, just a hard denial.

This apartment complex has major plumbing issues. The water is turned off multiple times per month from hours to days at a time without prior notice. They increase the rent constantly, they have added a $50 pet rent per month. The on-site manager does not respond to phone calls and messages. I have asked for a copy of my lease for over a year and have received nothing. When the state comes to inspect, the landlord only chooses apartments with little to no issues and they come a day or 2 prior to fix problems prior to inspection. It is one thing if they raised the rent to better the property, for example, plants trees, landscape, add a pool, etc. However, they raise the rent with no justification other than their own pockets.

This property management company used to be reliable, but it has deteriorated significantly. Their property in Barstow is in poor condition, and they show no concern for the residents. They seem to accept anyone off the street without regard for their background or history; if you're homeless or have a questionable past, you're likely to be approved. This is frustrating for those of us who pay full rent and have to deal with disruptive neighbors, particularly those on Section 8 who lack respect and responsibility. There's loud music, random visitors, and children damaging vehicles. The management here is ineffective; nothing gets addressed, and my air conditioning has been broken for nearly two years. This management needs to retrain the management at all the apartment properties they own. There is no way anyone should be paying 2,200 for an un-renovated 1 bedroom apartment and get disrespected by entitled people. Do not move to Canyon Club Apartments in Upland CA, they will complain about you when your not doing anything wrong or even if you are they will only tell you and no one else who's also been doing something wrong, not only that instead of worrying about the homeless digging in trash cans, or the homeless doing drugs on the stairs by your door, or the stealing packages or any other major problems they have on a daily basis they will complain about you and make it a big deal. NOT LIKE THEY USED TO BE: The impression taken is that seniors are WITHERING OLD PEOPLE and won't consider any enjoyment or allow them to provide any entertainment. OH pickleball WTH! there's severaI people with no pain, w/c, walkers or canes. I was gonna DJ for the Mardi Gras party. I was told NO and a band was hired WHO DID NOT PLAY 1 MARDI GRAS song. plus they were hit N miss on the songs they knew. I've seen people move in and within 4-5 months they ready or are moving out! OOOOH NEW YEARS PARTY WAS ORDERED TO BE FROM 1PM-5PM, WHO IN HELL CELEBRATES NEW YEARS THE DAY BEFORE.
