Lived in a property managed by Bayside for two years and the landlord was good, but my interactions with Bayside were mostly negative. 1. They charge a $150 application fee that does not get contributed to rent, broker’s fee, etc. if you are approved. I’ve never come across this before. 2. They do not reach out to current tenants to ask about renewing leases; rather, they wait for you to reach out and then pressure you to find new tenants (if some move out) within the next week. They are very demanding for how little they do in the process. 3. Rudy showed me a property this past July and cancelled the showing twice. First, he had not asked the current tenants if our scheduled time worked for them. Second, he was “sick” a couple hours before the showing and cancelled, but was well enough to

Very happy with my experience working with Bayside Realty. Rudy was very helpful, very quick to respond and just very kind- which I appreciated very much. After my lease took a few days to get signed and I started to get worried the agreement wouldn’t work out he immediately offered to take us on other showing and get us into a place asap. My agreement ended up working out for our desired apartment and I am very pleased about my experience working with this organization.

The A-Team of Cambridge rental real estate!!! These guys work VERY hard and look out for your best interests. I’ve had the pleasure of being both a tenant and neighbor of the Bayside Realty office for the past 18 months and they have treated me like family. Keep in mind that the leasing process requires mutual screening, so they value tenant prospects who are not only financially responsible but also good-tempered and willing to work with them on finding a fair arrangement.

AVOID AT ALL COST! I was working with them to get a studio and things were going smoothly at first, I even went ahead and signed the lease for it, but when it came to paying the fees, Rudy had mentioned a fee that was never mentioned on the listing or during the application process. When I asked him to give me a new application with this additional fee, he just ghosted me. When it came to giving the payments he was upset that I would have to mail in the check so suggest wiring the money instead which you DO NOT use to pay rental dues. So I took this up with the office and they told me to not send any money and they'll look into it, just for them to ghost me too. Writing this review specifically for Arthur as he is who we dealt with. He was so professional, very responsive, happy to email, call, text, zoom etc. to ensure we were comfortable navigating the remote apartment search due to covid-19. I would highly recommend him. He even offered to go to the apartment three different times for us on zoom to see the inside, outside, and take measurements. we really appreciated his service.
