Bayou Reserve Apartments

The apartment itself is nice. But that’s about all. Outside of the apartment smells so bad like sewage. The garbage dumpster is always overfilled The people that work in the office should be ashamed of them selves. After I moved out they added on so much charges. That I now owe $6000. If I couldn’t afford the rent and I moved out what makes u think I can. Pay $6000???? Besides my last bill has so many charges that isn’t true. My rent was all the way payed and they added more on. I made sure the apartment was cleaned and they still charged me. Even though it was dirty when I moved in. Needless to say let’s not talk about the late fees even when I paid it all. If I couldn’t afford have give yall no stars. I would have !!!!

They will come into your apartment at 9pm without notice to fix a microwave because they had a big inspection the next day. If you missing renters insurance a few days out the month they will charge $50 penalty for not being covered the whole month since it expired a week before month ended. The penalty was put on after I paid my rent so after they charged a $75 late charge because I had a balance on my account. Although it was put on AFTER I paid the rent and my balance was zero. They called the next day to tell me I had a balance still AFTER the late fee was applied & would not remove it. They give you a list of things to clean when moving out but will still charge you $50 for cleaning because you did not pull the stove away from the wall & clean behind it. I love the Bayou Reserve Apartments staff. I am not only impressed with the management but impressed with the care of the apartments and property itself. the property managers always conduct business in a very professional manner. Couldn’t recommend them more. Great place to live.

All of the bad reviews I’ve read are 100% accurate, and I’ve read the responses they put on the posts, and it looks like they just copied and paste. I lived there for a year and a half, and in that time I saw 4 or 5 changes in management because they were either fired or quit. All of the management I encountered were rude. The trash bins are disgusting, and are constantly overflowing. The pool was closed for 6-8 months that I lived there. The pool and the basketball / tennis court are overrun by the people across the block yet were the ones paying for those amenities! And they do nothing about it, yet I’m threatened with a fine because I have Christmas lights past December, or I leave my grill on my patio overnight. Firstly, the leasing consultant was amazing. We went on a tour of the property and the grounds were well kept. The on site gym indeed caught my attention. Overall seems like a great environment!
