Bayou Oaks Apartments

This is by far the WORST experience I’ve ever had with moving into a new home! The apartment manager is very unprofessional for starters! My apartment was not ready on my move in date and they refuse to accommodate my kids and I in any type of way! This lady called me on Christmas Eve to sign my lease when my actual move in date was the 29th. On the 29th the apartment wasn’t even ready! The apartment manager acts like she doesn’t know anything about the apartment complex and does not take responsibility for anything! She has very poor communication skills and a very bad Attitude! Don’t move here!!!!! This was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made! They take your money and run with it!! AND ALSO, NOBODY SPEAKS PROPER ENGLISH!!

I'm sorry but these rat infested apartments should have been demolished years ago. I know because I stay there. I really liked my apartment and some of my neighbors were really nice. But then it just got so bad that the rats took over. And the racoons they were a community. Mold, appliances not working. The slum lord lives in another country. I didn't think anyone still lives there after Fox 26 News did a report about the rats. I hope something is done to reach into the owner pockets where he can't make financial gains.

This complex was posted on fb by Rich Dame and he showed the nastiest pictures of that complex. I’m surprised people gave this 2 stars. This complex needs to be investigated and closed. The owners need to do something about this instead of sitting pretty collecting rent money

They didn’t have my apartment ready after 3 in a half ways and the lady in the office said it was ready, we had to do a walk thur without lights and we moved in and found out a lot, the apartment as black mold all though the ac unit, the tub/shower is nasty and dirty there are holes in the wall where the rats can come though, no ac at all and more. We have been with out all of this and more since we moved in and the lady keep saying they are going to fix it today and they don’t come but when they do they only fix one thing or half way fix it and on top of all of that we don’t have no smoke Detectors

Rats and roaches, some rats living in walls they are pack rats. Garbage always outside the dumpster, moved in a year ago no AC and I’m pregnant and it gets over 90 in the apartment that can kill my child. Mantience always says they’re gonna come and they don’t. Raised my water bill due to the fact they let downstairs neighbors stay in the apartments not paying rent and connecting cords to outside apartments lights to get power and then raises others rent so it won’t effect them. Contacted the city and they gave them a few days to fix it and so management came but they waited till they where about to leave to ask what needed fixed and before that she was asking how many pets and how many people and going thru apartment Im assuming trying to find anything to kick me out. Had to fix multiple
