Bay Vista Apartments

Wouldn’t recommend anyone staying here. Price gouge due to leasing office not sending documents to renew lease. Apartment was in horrible condition upon check in but I didn’t complain and just accepted it (Shower head broken, apartment disgustingly dirty, freezer wouldn’t stay shut, fridge had broken shed, cabinets missing handles, sink corroded full of calcium, AC leaking into shower, I could go on). Figured move out would be smooth since the entire apartment complex looks like crap, broken doors, fire alarms going off 7 days a week, packaging garage doesn’t close, etc… nope… instead they charge me for the mess that already exists when I 100% left the apartment in way better condition than I left it. Don’t recommend anyone staying here. Impossible to get ahold of leasing office. Homele

This property has gone downhill tremendously since I moved in. The maintenance team is horrible they placed a sticker on my window that won’t come off no matter what I use, and now it’s permanently stuck. On top of that, the gate scratched the entire driver’s side of my car. The place feels completely run-down and unprofessional, even though it has so much potential. Management really needs to hire new staff who actually care about maintaining the property and providing proper service to residents.

Revising my previous review, after many months of staying here they don't seem to care very much about the residents. Except the maintenance team, I have no complaints about the maintenance team they're great. Fix the amenities (the gym has been closed since I moved in) Fix the fences FIX THE FIRE ALARMS that keep going off multiple times a day for no reason, including at 3AM -Reading older reviews, apparently the fire alarms going off all day every day has been happening for over a year. Nobody is ever reachable. The offices are closed during working hours, and the phones never get answered. They just ghost you and collect your money. I’m so glad I didn’t renew my lease. The only thing that made this place tolerable were both Lisa’s. I moved out May 5th, I cleaned up the entire place. I was given a final statement after it was inspected with a refund of $305. I was told I would receive a refund check in 60 days. 60 days passed by and still nothing. I called to inquire about the refund and then I’m told that an inspection was done over a month after I moved out and now I won’t be getting anything back. How do you go from one inspection to waiting over a month after I moved out for a 2nd one in which I was never notified. I lived there for only one year. Avoid Bay Vista Pointe Apartments in Corpus Christi at all costs. My experience living here was nothing short of a nightmare, largely due to poor management, unsafe conditions, and serious cleanliness issues. Management is incredibly unprofessional. Krystal, in particular, handled my move-out with complete disregard for integrity. She signed paperwork confirming my move-out date, then entered my apartment before that date and changed the locks. I had already moved most of my items out a week early, but planned to return before the agreed date to clean and retrieve the last of my belongings. Instead, I was locked out and later billed for deep cleaning — even though I hadn’t been allowed back in to clean.
