Basecamp at RED

The Maintance worker Jacob is one of the best if not the best maintenance guy I have ever experienced. He’s friendly and he’s quick! I had a list of stuff to get done after living here for 3 years and nobody wants a stranger in their apartment but this guy is so friendly and so professional it feels Iike having my neighbor over for beers and UFC! Appreciate your hard work and hopefully the Red district did too!

This review is for the maintenance team, specifically Jacob. After some heavy rain, a leak started spreading across my ceiling, Jacob showed up, explained the cause of the leak and immediately started on repairs. He notified me everytime he needed to enter my unit, and was always prompt and professional. Despite coming across a couple of issues (like the paint slightly mismatching) Jacob made sure that all issues were resolved at the end of the day. He was also very tidy and left the work area clean which I greatly appreciated.

I have lived in RED for going on 3 years now. Appreciate how professional and polite the staff have been with me throughout. Jakub with the maintenance is polite and always takes care of work orders quickly and efficiently like the dishwasher that had come off the brackets the other day. Came by the next day diagnosed it and got it taken care of!

From my drop in to take a tour, to move-in day, I have been treated so kindly by all the leasing office staff. I had some issues with my air conditioner being on a consistent run, and my maintenance request was immediately handled. it took two weeks to fix but they communicated with me and it was taken care of quickly once the part had been ordered. I find my space to be the perfect size for me and my things, the entire complex is always kept clean and tidy. I enjoy use of the gym and pool and they are always well kept and strictly patrolled by security, which makes me feel safe. Even in the very early hours, they patrol the lots and hallways which brings me comfort. As a lifelong resident of Reno, I've lived in several luxury apartment complexes, including Damonte Ranch, Indigo, and The Waterfront at the Marina, all with positive experiences. However, my two years at Basecamp at RED have been overwhelmingly frustrating and disappointing. From the start, the staff was insufferable, particularly JeniLee, the director, who was consistently rude and dismissive. I recommend taking any concerns to Akeelah or Summer, as they were much more accommodating. The maintenance issues were never resolved. Despite submitting over ten requests, I dealt with a malfunctioning toilet, a broken light, and loose carpeting for months.
