Oh loves, 2020 was hell. &they helped create mine. My husband travels for work so we rent often. We found a lovely home on a lake. We’d been told so many promising things. When we arrived it was disgusting. We sent $3,000 to this company for them to quite literally steal $3,000. When we arrived the floors were spongy it was a second story lake home. We didn’t have access to the bottom due to previous flooding. We were told the upstairs was perfectly fine. That was incorrect, they may have picked up but there was mold and dead bugs all over the rental. Laundry in the washing units, trash in the bathroom(used toilet paper), smoke detectors didn’t work. They claimed the money we sent wasn’t from our account bc it had a gamer tag instead of my husbands name. So I’m here with all my proof years

We applied to rent a property they had listed through their website. We looked at the property and the agent told us she had a few more people to show the place to that day, but that we looked the best on paper and if selected would proceed to the background check phase. We completed our background checks and passed the following business day. After not hearing anything for a couple days, we followed up and were told they were accepting additional applications through the week and would be informed of the decision the following Monday. This was never discussed with us before we paid for our background checks. We were led to believe that if we were asked to complete the background check that we were the ones selected to rent as long as the background checks came back clean. I called the off
