DON'T WALK, RUN AWAY!!!! They deserve zero stars. Eric is the WORST representative I have ever come across. Hard to believe this builder continues to allow him to be the face of their business. He will tell you, I'm the end all, you can't talk to anyone else from Barnes. After many issues, he also said the builder WOULD NOT CARE if I didn't buy the home (that was not built to our spec, TWICE) because they would just sell it to someone else. Then again, Barnes can't be a reputable builder, offering floor plans on their site that are outdated and no longer built to the spec shown. After 2 failed build-outs and 10 wasted months with these folks, I wouldn't recommend them to build my dog house, let alone a forever home for my family. These people don't even deserve 1 star! Our home buying experience was a living hell due to Eric Martinez and his team. Buying a home should be one of the best experiences, so we were told. This was our first home buying experience and let me say it was not a pleasant experience. They do not care about the family buying the home all they care about is making the sale. In my opinion Eric was the biggest problem for us. He will tell you what you wanted to hear just to get you to stop talking. Quite honestly you really couldn't talk when you were in the same room as him because he would cut you off mid sentence. He would talk as if he knew what he was saying but he sounded as if he were making words up to make his self sound good. All honesty the only reason we did not walk away from the deal

Please don't do business with these people. We have had a terrible buying experience from the place in Belton, TX, Eric Martinez is a JOKE! we are still having problems after we have moved in. My flooring is completely coming up and I contacted the company a month ago and it still hasn't been taken care of. I could go on and on! we literally have a crazy story! Eric Martinez is a Lair! PLEASE do yourself a favor and don't build with them!!! RUN!!!

They are causing issues with the fence I am paying for and building nearly 2 yrs after living at my property.
